I have used Sensodyne (original) for many years with no issues whatsoever. However, after trying Sensodyne Complete for a week, I will never use this product again.

Last Saturday I woke up to a mouth on fire. When I looked in the mirror, my lips were red and swollen, my right cheek was swollen, and my lips, tongue, and gums were consumed with pain. My dentist examined my mouth and agreed that it looked bad. Six days later, the swelling has gone down, but the pain lives on.

The tube of toothpaste was intact when I purchased it, with the foil seal in place and no visible signs of tampering. Does GSK do quality control on their products? Are they now going to China for their manufacture?

I am keeping the offending tube of toothpaste in case I need it as "Exhibit A". I haven't been able to eat normally since this happened โ€“ it just hurts too much.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Location: Riverside, Illinois

I have the same problem since I've been using this product. The roof of my mouth is always burning and in the morning when I wake up the roof of my mouth is dry.

I also have the same burning sensation and gum inflame. I use the first tube of sensodyne toothpaste which was fine.

The second tube, I started to feel pain in my gum. I went to the dentist and have some mouthwash, didn't help. Was refer oral surgeon and did the biopsy.

It was my gum reaction to new medication which I am not on any except that toothpaste. Now it still hurt
